Hercules Fluorocarbon is made from a high quality 100 percent polyvinylidene fluoride, which is resistant to UV light and offers a lower optical density than monofilament, so it’s as close to invisible as possible, to avoid detection by the fish you’re casting to.
Hercules Fluorocarbon has a hard surface for abrasion resistance and it won’t absorb water. It is denser than mono, so it will not float and it sinks quicker too, making it ideal for fishing with weighted soft plastic lures, vibes and other sinking lures.
The 20m spools of Hercules Fluorocarbon include 6lb (0.21mm) for species such as bream, whiting, bass and trout; plus 10lb (0.30mm), 15lb (0.37mm) and 20lb (0.44mm) for myriad fish targeted with estuary, beach, inshore and freshwater tactics.
